Homemade Breakfast Sausage

Makes 6 patties

  • 1 pound ground pork, turkey, chicken, or beef

  • 1 teaspoon dried sage

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper


  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Combine all ingredients and mix well

  3. Form patties with clean hands

  4. Cook patties approximately 8 minutes on each side

Note: If you use ground chicken or turkey, you may have to add some coconut oil to your skillet. Make several batches and freeze cooked or uncooked patties for future meals.
