10-12oz freshly brewed organic coffee
1 tablespoon unrefined coconut oil or grass-fed butter (ie. Kerrygold brand)
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
pinch of powdered stevia (Stevita Supreme)
1 scoop whey protein powder (optional)
1 teaspoon raw cacao powder (optional)
1. Blend all ingredients until frothy and pour into a tall mug.
Note: Bulletproof coffee is often utilized by athletes for sustained energy. The additional fat and protein allows the caffeine to be released over a longer period of time, preventing the traditional caffeine jitters. Using a chemical-free decaffeinated coffee also works if you simply desire a "healthy" latte.
